Hi all. Just picked one up today after doing my homework.
Here's a picture of the G36 next to my kel-tec P3AT that I took at the range today.

The short version is that I like it. Shoots well. Recoil seems nominal and oddly enough it feels close to shooting my Walther PPS in 9mm. I think the wider grip feels more secure on the G36. Don't get wrong, I still love the PPS. But the G36 is very nice also.
I shot the cheap Wolf brand after 3 to 4 magazines of: Remington UMC, American Eagle, some .45 FMJ I had in a tupperware box and the expense HST hollowpoint. Not one FTF or other problem. I was very happy.
The G36 also fits into my PPS Crossbreed Supertuck and JMG 7 series holsters.
Bottom line. Excellent feel and I'm looking forward to it being a primary CCW.
