New G35, quick question

I picked up this New G35 Friday, had a chance to put some rounds through her today. I noted on cleaning that the edge of the forward lug was sharp, and looked like part had flaked off. Is this something I should be worried about? Otherwise I LOVE this gun, very soft shooter and digested all rounds without a hiccup. Also, functioned fine at the range with M3X attached.

No worries. Its not common but known to happen.
If it is sharp I recommend you run a piece of carbide across it.
