It was a smart trade. The 226 Platinum Elite for a G30 is a hell of a trade where you got the better dollar value. But man oh man, a G30 is a nice pistol. I don't know if I'd have done it. LOL, guess that's an example of how smart I am! ENJOY it! Sounds like you're both smiling so I guess that means it was not just smart but a great trade.

Ruger Mini 30 for the .40 Sig Platinum Elite. The only thing I don't like is the platinum grips, looks cheap. I ordered factory black grips with hex screws. We'll see how it looks like that.

The Mini 30 you are referring to is the Ruger 30 Ranch Rifle correct ?
