So I recently got a colt 6920. As my shtf rifle I'd like to have a few spare parts to kep on hand. Where can I get colt manufactured spare parts for the 6920? specifically looking for parts such as bolt, extractor, hammer, springs, gas key
Google would probably the fastest way. Im all for instant gratification.

My googlefoo kind of fails. I did search and came up with 1 site I had never heard of. Them came up with several forums that were fairly unreleated
I did a quick search and came up w/ http://www.specializedarmament.com/catalog/Colt_AR_15_Parts-4-0.html
or you can try Colts website. Maybe look into bravocompanyusa.com . They make good stuff and its put through the scientific tests, mil-spec so it should mix well. Not to mention its redily available.

Yea the specialized armament site is the site I came up with. Never heard of em. Never heard talk of them. Dont really wanna use a site whos reputation is unknown to me. I looked into BCM. May go with them, but would prefer colt parts. The colt wedsite only seems to provide parts for the 1911 line. Coltmfg.com. The LE site doesnt appear to have anything. CDNN.com I checked doesnt appear to have anything either

try and google Specialized Armament Reviews and see what you come up w/
try http://www.coltparts.com/parts1.html scroll almost to the bottom of the page
When I was looking for colt carbine handguards, the glossy older ones and not the flat ones you see now, I called Colt and they referred me to SAW, one of their biggest distributors. However I ended up getting them from Brownells, which also stocks a lot of Colt AR parts. Either way prepare to pay a lot of $$$, but I know how it is when you're set on getting something in particular and nothing else.

If you want genuine Colt parts that are in stock, then you need to contact Specialized Armament. Ken Elmore, owner, basically wrote the armorers book for Colt and has forgotten more about this weapon than most people know. He has a great relationship with Colt and will have what you need. Again you will pay for the name if you want genuine Colt.
