I just corresponded with my friend and mentor, John Farnam. He is teaching his Defensive Pistol course in Dallas on March 29-30. If you are interested in taking this course, go to his website at www.defense-training.com to get more details and register.
I have taken three courses from John myself. The thing I like the most about John is that he places a lot of emphasis on the mental side of fighting with a gun, where most fights are won or lost. John is a student of psychology. He has a good understanding of not only how predators think and work, but how to screw them up at their own game.
Everybody needs to take at least one course from John. Novice tactical shooters will learn a lot of useful skills in a short time. The benefit to veteran shooters is exposure to John's hard-core approach to fighting, where political correctness takes a backseat to going home after a fight.
