View Full Version : G19 G4 3-1/2lb. Connector problem

I have a G19 G4 and purchased a 3-1/2 lb. connector for it. A gunsmith attempted to install it but it was too short. I returned it and was sent another. This one at least fits, but when pressure is applied to the trigger and released, the safety does not reset unless I manually pull the trigger forward.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Its hard to understand what you mean by "too short"?
I am glad to learn the replacement connector fit as intended however am confused again regarding the safety not resetting? Are you referring to the firing pin safety or the trigger safety?

Bottom line.... sounds like you have a trigger spring issue, not a connector failure.
I would be more than happy to take a look at it. You have any pics?

Hi, it was made too short in length. The "trigger" safety won't reset on it's own.
Perhaps I should say, I didn't buy the connector from Lone Wolf, but GolckWorx (ZEV Technologies).

The connector does not touch the FP safety?
The raised angled edge of the trigger bar is the only part that engages the FP safety?

Sounds to me like you have some kind of forward travel limiter? I think Zev offers something like this?

I highly recommend you contact them regarding the failure
