Does anyone know of a good cheap place to buy Viridian lasers? I am looking to buy an X5L laser/light combo, I have seen a handful of stores selling them from $270-$310 and wanted to check and see if anyone knew where to get them for less before purchasing one.

Thanks,
Spencer

See http://www.amazon.com/Viridian%C2%AE-X5L-Universal-Green-Laser/dp/B0026O1EY4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1284531027&sr=8-1 . I also recommend you consider the C5L as an alternative.

C5L = BEST light/laser combo for a sub-compact. Love mine and it was $280 shipped @ optics planet.

Thanks for the link, is there any difference in the output on the light and laser on the C5L since it's smaller?

I think they are the same, but I don't see where the C5L specifically says the pulsed light is 140 lumens. Switches are significantly better on C5L and being smaller the lenses should get less GPR on them because it sits back further. Downside of C5L is that the attachment clips evidently leave something to be desired on the compact and full size models. Downside to GLK and XL5 is that they fail within 6 months.

thanks for the heads up, do you have any pictures of the C5L on a glock? Particularly a 19/23?

Also, what do you mean by "Downside of C5L is that the attachment clips evidently leave something to be desired on the compact and full size models."
