View Full Version : Federal ammo question
I just picked up a few boxes of the Federal 9mm LUGER, 115 grain, to shoot in my G26. Anybody have any feedback on this brand of ammo and/or how well it works in Glock 19/26 pistols?
Thanks.
I shot about 1500 rounds of it through my 26 and 17 just to build up some brass. Functioned fine in all my Glock 9mm's. Some are having problems with the new Gen 4 models, stiffer spring. You shouldn't have any problem at all with your Gen 3 26. Good shooting, hard to beat the price unless you reload.
I've shot maybe 1K of 'em in my 9mm Glocks. They gobbled 'em up just like everything I've crammed in the mag. Cheap+available+accurate=good ammo.

Same here. It is reputed to be on the lower end of the power spectrum but I've never had an issue in my 26 or 17 (Gen3). Just now starting to see other brass brands get below WM's price of 9.47--e.g., Cabela's 8.99 deal on S&B.

the only problem with that ammo is that is makes a mess. Other than that it is decent ammo, never had any functional issues with it.

I get it for $9.47 a box at Wal-Mart, shoot it in my G-19 or G-26, accurate and best range ammo for best price IMHO.

I’ve been using it in my G17 for quite some time. No problems. I like it. I even saw Nutnfancy using it in one of his recent videos.
Thanks to those who responded, I appreciate it.
