Hey,
I own several business including a small hotel in south africa. To my understanding, we are not able to order the fssg fully auto switch here in the states, (please correct me if I am wrong), however, would I be able to purchase and use it in another country (i.e. south africa)? Any additional info, comments, suggestions, etc, are all appreciated. Thanks.

It's not legal here to own it or make it .... I would ask a legit dealer in south Africa if it is legal there... I honestly feel that the weapon you are seeking is useless for about every application . I would think an AR or AK in semi or select fire would be the ticket in South Africa more than a full auto handgun. If full auto guns are legal , you need to do all your research there.... I would be surprised if glock would sell those parts to an individual legal or not.

It is legal to purchase anything for firearms for export as long as it is legal to own in the country you are exporting to. There are many hurdles though. First it would have to be done by a licensed exporter. Then it would have to be going to a country that there are no restrictions on (ie Iraq etc.) Then the exporter would need to be able to purchase that particular part from Glock. Usually there is a very large minimum purchase. The likelihood that you would be able to do this is slim to zero. Karl.;Q

You don't buy fssg conversion switches from Glock.

If the device is legal in SA, then you can be sure someone in SA is already making/importing it. Check with firearms dealers there.
