I have an Oehler 33 chronograph (an oldie but a goodie...). It's been sitting around for quite a few years and I decided to set her up again. I had to reduce the distance between my sky screens to three feet. How much have I lost in accuracy because of this? I mostly test handgun ammo.
Thanks,
:wavey:
I don't think you lost any appreciable amount of accuracy, as long as the system is set up to account for the three feet of seperation. Thta's just my $0.02, it's not based on any kind of academic background in this kind of stuff. I use a cheap Chrony that is only about one foot between the screens and it is "good enough" for me.
