FYI: there is no screw in the gun that EVER touches the frame.... Still, your question is pretty vague?
Are you referring to the front sight screw? If so, it may touch the barrel. If it does it will leave a drag mark and possibly wedge itself between the slide & barrel locking it open.
Are you referring to the guide rod screw? If so, it is tapered on the back side allowing the GR Hole in the slide to go over it aligning itself as it lock into battery.

I was questioning the guide rod screw holding the spring on. there is the metal screw touching the metal frame clearly seen in the pic...when the slide is not locked back the two metals
(the guide rod screw and the frame touch. I guess i will call Lonewolf because DT knew exactly what i was asking i'll call Lonewolf next week...i was planning two more barrel for my G20 a .40 and a .357sig....those G20 sure are versatile...Thanks

Ok, you are confused. The frame is polymer. The slide is metal. I notice the Guide Rod in the pic is also metal.
The end of the slide has a big hole & a small hole in it. The big hole is for the barrel and the small hole secures the GR. This small hole is called the GR ring. It does not matter if the screw tip of the GR touches GR ring.
