View Full Version : is it just me
or do others like the old, hard to see colt sites. i know they're not the best combat sites by far, but i target shoot much better with these sites than the high rise combats. and while we're on the subject, i'm so excited about the TRS i'm about to crap my pants. i was telling my ffl buddy about it and he's gonna get the commanche. this will be a good life lesson for me, as i have the patience of a hornet. it's my idea of the perfect 1911. no bobbed grip frame, no ambi safety, no square trigger guard, no front cs, no two tone, etc. not throwing off on these options, they're just not for me. i don't blame bac, don't blame quack, but luv2spd's pics got me. DAMN i'm happy.
yup, i kinda figured that :embarassed:. i can't wait. i think the series 70 refinish might have to wait.
definitely just you LOL its ok though
just you, sorry :embarassed:
They're fine for shooting off a rest.
Aim small (very small) miss small:supergrin:
I can take 'em or leave 'em. I prefer the higher combat sights though.
I'd tolerate the old GI sights on a beautiful old collectors piece that was original.......and that's about it.
Your Colt has sights?!
That's cheatin' !
Shoot with what works for you and enjoy! :)
I actually agree with woodrow. I like the small sights for target shooting, but if I could only have one 1911 it would have to be something with bigger sights for use as a
Yes, just you.
I also like the way the Springer GIs look, but I can't stand those sights they put on em.
it's just you
