View Full Version : Buffalo Bore 357Sig and Storm Lake barrel
Since this is a partially caliber-based question I'll field it here: I have a Glock 23 I want to get a conversion barrel for 357Sig. Can't find any factory G32 barrels in stock anywhere so I was thinking about a Storm Lake barrel. Given that the Buffalo Bore loads are perhaps the hottest out there, would they be safe in a Storm Lake barrel?
It looks like glockstore.com has the G32 Glock barrels in stock. At least going by their site.

It would be nice if you could buy stuff like that direct from Glock. Kahr has the best online parts ordering system I've ever seen.

I'm at a loss. I've looked everywhere I know. Anyone with an OG Glock 32 barrel could make some coin.

I agree, even if it was at an inflated price.

Tried the Glock route too. No phone orders. They'll email you a PDF with an order form you have to print off, fill out, and either scan it back in or snail-mail it to them. Then it can be up to 6 weeks to fill it. Said **** that. :steamed:

I purchased a Storm Lake Barrel for my G33-357sig about 3 months ago. It took about 3 weeks for it to be delivered to me. I purchased the 2 port barrel so it is a little over 4 inches long and sticks out of the frame about an inch, which doesn't bother me any. I have shot Buffalo Bore, Win. Ranger T, Double Tap, Fiochii and Rem. Golden Saber Bonded, all which shot fine and more accurate than the stock barrel with less muzzle flip. I ordered it from Glockworld and couldn't be more happy with it.

No problem whatsoever.
It appears that Glockmeister has (OEM) G32 barrels in stock at $140.

No problems with my storm lake 9mm conversion. Very good quality.

I would prefer the SL to the OEM Glock bbl. Better case head support, conventional rifling (better IMO) get one & don't look back.

If you read my other thread about the BB velocities (1500fps) I wonder if the Storm Lake barrel contributes at all to that astronomical velocity. I had a Glock 32 a while back and chrono'd the Cor Bon loads at about 1375fps average. They did ~1400fps from the Storm Lake barrel. Not much of an increase but the ammo was the same (still had some left over) but the barrel was different. I did not, however, chrono the BB out of the Glock 32 as I hadn't bought any yet.
