9MM 115 Gr vs 124 Gr IPSC and IDPA

I shoot a M&P 9MM Pro for USPSA and IDPA and well a few local variants too.
I mostly was buying WWB 115 Gr FMJ.
It's now a wash, price wise, between that and American Eagle 124 Gr. FMJ.

For the shooting I'm doing is there any advantage in one over the other?
Not really interested in a discussion of brands but rather bullet weight.

I have been a member of USPSA and IDPA for a couple of years.

If you're loading it yourself, there's a noticeable difference in felt recoil between a 124 and a 115 when using a very fast-burning powder. In factory ammo, it's much more subtle.

If they're the same price, buy a few boxes of each and experiment. Most find they prefer the 124s.
