Not forever but until I retire. I would still like to keep shooting though. Where would you guys suggest the best place to buy bulk hand gun amp is?? Or ammo period??

Walmart to fill a void in a quick emergency , otherwise there are numerous internet sites. Do a Google search and look at the advertised specials - thats where you will find the best loaded ammo deals.

Hell, drop Freakshow a PM, he may be as cheap or cheaper than anywhere else... might as well keep it in the family.

Hope you're able to resume the addiction as soon as possible. Good luck.

Before things got crazy, Blazer from Natchez used to always be cheaper than Georgia Arms...so I never understood why people bought pistol target ammo from them. Then Natchez went and more than doubled prices in not too long a period of time.

At this point, I suspect Walmart is the cheapest source for reliable ammo for non-reloaders.

Maybe I fail to understand the question. With todays progressive machines, even a LCT, reloading isn't all that time consuming. In the time it takes to go to a Walmart, I can reload 450-500rds (1hour). So it can't really be a time issue? I managed to reload, work 40/wk, coach kids soccer & still shoot a major match every month, along w/ all the meriad of other things one has to do in their lives. No one was busier than that. Now the kids are grown & I am only working 24hrs/wk & can't find time to shoot! It's all about time managment.
If you just have to buy ammo, on-line Blazer from Natchez, Graf's, Wideners, where ever usually beats WM after gas & sales tax & they drop it at your door.

Fred, your reloading time could be used to make bio-diesel, plant flowers, help little old ladys and feed kids around the world !
So really you could be alot better person if you just bought ammo.

And who knows, you might just be a little less mean and abrasive,,

I had to reread the OP's original post. I've now read the link that Bob posted (didn't have time earlier) and have figured out what the OP was referring to in his post #3 (a GT advertisement, green box, in every page's header)....

Something is definitely not right about this thread. Might the OP be a beneficial party to the referenced "In Stock Ammo" advertisement above? Might he be attempting to gleem information from GT subscribers to potentially prove a point to the owners of GT regarding their advertising? His demeanor in the link Bob referenced could certainly support such an argument.

Something just doesn't seem quite right.

Asking reloader were to buy finished ammo is just plain silly to begin with. As for advertisers I have bought stuff from four of the ones currently advertising in the last six months.

That is a old thread. Not that old but not current. Post something like "I can't reload any longer" It kinda makes you wonder why and he gives no reason and never comes back. Unless he is on a single stage it doesn't take that long to reload some ammo. 30 mins a day, 5 days a week on a LCT would net you at least 400 rds.

Are you sure your being unfair to some of the sponsors doing this? I mean making it a sticky. Just asking. Another thing I am basically new to forum stuff and semi-new to online ordering. With Google I have managed to find all this stuff myself. Or you ask. Like start a thread:)

I'm not so sure doing this research yourself isn't part of the dues a new reloader needs to pay.

It's a nice gesture but it can also be your competition to get something you've been waiting and waiting for.

Part of why we as Americans are in the Economic mess we are in has to do with not knowing how to do something on our own. Like use your Brain. Don't get me wrong I surely don't mind helping someone out when they ask. But let them ask.

What's next. Offering to place the order for them? Or doing a sticky on how to find any product for that manner.

I just think your idea helps no-one but the lazy person. Don't we have enough free-loaders already.

I am sure this will offend some of you. I am not trying to do that. It's just where do you end it. Should there be a Holster sticky a handgun sticky a blackrifle sticky tactical clothes stick . Just saying

Maninmirror, maybe you should take your own advice and do your own research??? :whistling:

All over the map and without a hint of cognizant thought...from ranting about "hoarders" being near-criminal, trying to sic the feds onto anyone shipping primers improperly to bragging about all the thousands he acquired later. He professed to a completely unrealistic round count and was an instant expert on all things reloading...etc., etc. I think Eric finally got enough, canned him and not too long later, a new login appears with a revamped persona but unable to conceal the same, old, lack of linear reason.
