Thin Alumagrips on my TRS [Archive]

I got in a set of the thin Alumagrips today from Thunder Ranch for my TRS. I think they really set off the NP3+. What do you guys think?

Thanks, Brian.....It certainly is a different look, that is for sure. I kind of like it for that reason. I am really starting to give a little harder look at the Alumagrips. I had never dealt with them until you ordered your NN with them. The more I mess with them, the more they are growing on me.

Thanks Bulldog. Yes, I did take the picture. Still working on my photography skills, though. I still have some shadows I am contending with.

hahaha... i hear ya. Im into gun photography as well. It can be challenging for sure!...

All of a sudden i start taking care of my ammo boxes for photography purposes.:rofl:

I agree....Unfortunately, Thunder Ranch does not offer the thin TRS grips in black. I kind of wanted to stick with the Thunder Ranch theme on this specific pistol.

NP3 Plus, Joe. I have never had much luck getting the true color in pictures of the NP3. The grips are actually a very subtle olive color.

I was thinking that Sig Sauer's aluminum grips would look good on my P226, but the best price I could find was $158 bucks, which I think is a bit pricey for grips on a $800.00 gun.

The good ol' P226. My issue sidearm for 10.5 years during my Navy days. I wish I had a dollar for every round I have shot through one of those bad boys.....It is the only Sig I still own. (NSW P226 Navy) Great pistol!!!

I really like the look of the NP3Plus Baer, and the grips. If I ever get a gun refinished, it will be NP3 or NP3 plus.
