Yes, I have an ugly innertube on mine... I don't like Hogue slip on grips with the finger grooves and palm swells.

No one makes a decent rubber slip on grip for a handgun. Pachmeyer sells one with no palm swell or grooves - but the rubber is too thick on it...

Limbsaver makes one now with no finger grooves or palm swells. I like it so far, but it does add about 3mm or so to the backstrap. I think I got it from Brownells

Size wise, I'd say they are about the same. However, if you carry with the gun against the skin, the rough texture of the USPc grip may chafe you up a bit. As for recoil between the two, I can't honestly compare as my USPc is a .40 and my P2000s are 9mms. For the ultimate concealment, there is the P2000SK. Very versatile, as you can get an X-Grip attachment with the P2000 mag to give it a full grip when extra concealability is needed. I've successfully pocket carried mine SK with a flat / flush fit base plate.

Just the sub compact HK has the finger grooves. I like them on this gun. I actually like the finger grooves on the full size GLOCKs too, but find them a little to cramped on the compact and subcompacts.

Well I posted in another thread but I went shooting for the first time a few weeks ago with a man on a forum, he let me shoot his g19, sig p250 compact, HK USp Compact 9mm, another Sig cant remember.. But OMG I had so much fun, kinda got get used to the loudness of everyone on the range.. Unfortunately I liked the feel of the HK the best. How hard is the USP compact for concealing on an athletically built guy (no belly)? I will prob get an Mtac if it fits my body frame.

I see you have great taste in guns. The USPc with the right holster and belt should be very easy to comceal. I know some who carry the fullsize .45 USP daily. I carry a Glock 19 and its about the same size as the USPc. Let us know when you buy it. You already know how HK's are,:cool:

hey NMGlocker, is that the new viridian c5l?

thinking of getting one for my P2000 and one of my glocks.

debating getting the hk45c or two viridian c5ls and a gen4 glock 19.
(yeah, for the price of the hk45c, i can get two lasers/lights and a glock)

hating the prices of hks. when the usp compact .357 first came out, i got it for $569w/night sights and the p2000 .357 for $629 w/night sights. my uspc 45 cost me $777 last year, and i was quoted $875 for the 45c.

the two viridians and glock 19 will cost me about $800+tax. :crying:
well, if i get the 45c, at least all the mags i bought for my uspc45 will fit. no extra mags to buy. they were $47 each. ouch. the p2000 mags were much cheaper.

I bought a USP Compact in .357 when they first came out, then the P2000 in .357. I ordered a P2000SK in .357 recently. I just want the ergonomics of the 45c pistol chambered in .357.

If i said this in General Glocking i would get hung. I took a HK and one of my Glock's to the range awhile back. Been shooting Glocks for several months no other guns. The HK shot so well and smooth i transitioned back to HK. Your right the P30 shoots so good its amazing. I like most any gun that works but i try to keep it real, :wavey:

No problem. Thanks for the compliments. The CZ is one of my favorites to shoot. It is the most accurate, comfortable, and reliable pistol I have ever held in my hand. It makes me look good at the range. I have yet to buy a gun that I don't love to shoot. The PPK is one of my favorites to be honest. The .22s are hard to beat for the price and fun factor.

If I recall correctly it is/was from badger? I have had it on there's for 15 or so years, before a correct paddle mag release was available for semi auto, clipped and pin guns. Yes, it pushes to the side instead of forward. It is actually a little more natural, but contemplating changing it to
Ake it "correct."
