I finally got the Ultralight Carry Compact I ordered a while back. I have not even logged it in yet, but ran it outside to take some pictures. I took a couple pics next to my full size Ultralight Carry for a comparison. Needless to say, this is a very cool little 1911 cashing in at 2 lbs 2 oz, loaded (1lb 10 oz empty)I like it......I like it a lot!!!

Way cool indeed. Congrats! Pretty significant size difference between it and the Gov't model. Really NICE! Good choice in staying with the aluminum trigger. I know the amor tuff will wear off over time on the trigger. I also like that you went solid! Naked slide, flush and fluted barrel too!

Which sights did you get?

Yes I am. There are some 20 something males out there that look like pro athletes that I must give a Welfare check to so they don't have to work.

I'm sure there are plenty of Crackheads that need my tax money to buy crack and Cadillac's.

GOD bless the socialist in this country. Enjoy the USA while there is still something to enjoy.

....although it looks like we made a little progress Tuesday. Gonna be an interesting next couple of years, to say the least.

Don't even mention your BWC and "jealous" in the same sentence. That was the score of all scores. How do you sleep at night? Like a baby I'm assuming. :tongueout:

I managed to make it to an indoor range today for a quick session with the ULCc today. It is a great shooter! It certainly has a bit more felt recoil than a standard 1911, but that was to be expected. I found it to be very accurate. I fired 100 rounds through it without a single malfunction. (50 230g Ranger RA45T and 50 230g Speer Gold Dot). Here is a picture after my first couple mags through the pistol at 7 yards. She is a keeper.....
