Good score. Gotta wade through a lot of crap to get to the gems, but they do crop up now and then.

Garage sale, huh? Burglary is probably more like it.
What's that red crap on the bullets... you drop 'em in Jell-O? :dunno:

Nice, i have been to many garage sales looking for reloading stuff. But i live in a Liberal state (as you can tell from Nov. 2nd) and guns are the devil, so i always come home empty handed :crying:

Try that bullet with 4.0 Bullseye in 38 Spl, if it drops big enough.

Yeah, 0.357 works great in my Glock. I wouldn't size then down any, just pass them through a 0.358" die to lube them, or 0.357" die if the larger die casues lubing problems in the sizer machine.
No 38Spl, WTF?
wow good find! your products looks nice and shiny :)

Are you talkin about powder or a 38 Spl?
Dont use that powder and in 38's I use the full length version

I'm suggesting that you use 4.0 grains of Bullseye powder, manufactured by Alliant (formerly Hercules, though the Hercules stuff is just fine too) with that bullet in the 38 Special cartridge with that bullet.
You responded that you don't shoot 38 Special, I was surprised that you don't have a 38Special since it is arguably the single most popular pistol caliber, at least it was for a very long time.

Well I probably ain't a normal never owned a 38 Spl or a 9mm until last week. Out of about 20 moulds I didn't have a suitable mould for a 9er but lucked out and found a mould and dies and your favorite "a LW barrel" all at the same time.
The mould mighta saved me from gettin another one of those brass moulds.

Good looking bullets Bob. Don't even bother w/ another lube, the CR is the best I have used, cheap too. The Magma hard lube is about the same price, but I find it a bit too hard for a wide range of velocity. I run lead bullets from 800fps-1800fps in diff calibers, having one good lube for all is priceless.
Hey, maybe we should go mine your neighbors shooting berm while we I am out there? Looks like you need some more lead to go w/ all those purrty molds.

Jack bought just under 150 sticks of Blue Angel for right at $.80 a stick several years ago when a gun shop went out of business. Jack likes it.
Got a few sticks from Magma when Little Stevie ordered some this summer. Used a couple of sticks just to see what it was like. As far as I can tell it's exactly the same as Blue Angel... certainly seems to have the same flow rate.
Have never had a problem with leading or accuracy with it at mid-range loads in any caliber.
(I do like the RED color of CR though... matches some other red stuff I have. :whistling:)

The red is purdy on boolits, :embarassed:
Just for you I might try some blue lube one of these days,
if you try the red.

Great deal! I have that profile in 9mm, and it shoots great out of the LW barrel in the G17.
