I know these are bottom line shotguns, BUT...

I can get a brand new one for $159! Normally $259, on Sale for $199, Now on Clearance for $159! I can't afford much more right now, and I can't find a good used one for cheap either. It will be used for home protection, and occasional trips to the range. I have heard good and bad about the brand... No where near the quality of my old Winchester Defender Model 1300, but no where near the price either.

Any input appreciated!

Thanks...

Daly used to be a good name in shotguns, until they sold overseas. The price is certainly good, you just have to ask yourself if what you get is worth it.

I went ahead and purchased it. For $159 I could not pass it up. After I pick it up I will take it out and shoot the crap out of it and give a review. The salesman said he sells a lot of them and no returns or unhappy customers... We will see.

Can I ask where you got it for that price?

Thanks

Big 5

They are on clearance! The store manager said he was going to pick one up at that price. He said a few stores still showed some in stock...

$159.86!

I went to the Big 5 in San Jose as listed below:

Charles Daly exited the U.S. gun market, and may have ceased operations entirely. That means that warranty support will be nonexistant. Hopefully your gun is a knock-off of a more established gun and you can find parts from that manufacturer.

Picked up the Charles Daly Field Tactical today. Feels GREAT! Will shoot it some tonight and let you know...

Yes, no warranty or support, but for $159 I could not pass it up! My 2 sons went and purchased one each at that price also. Looks well built to me!

It has a funky mag tube setup, but I can get 6 in it right now...

Don't really see a need to have a couple more shells, but it would be nice.
