Folks,
I have been out of the loop lately and am currently overseas. I wanted to pass along some updated information about some classes we are holding the first part of the year. If you are interested in any specifics, don’t hesitate to hit me up via email.

Combative Carbine
San Antonio, TX February 15-16, 2003 at Blackhawk Range.
This class was full, but we had one gentleman extended his family vacation and won’t be able to make it. If you are in or around the San Antonio area consider this class, it is an awesome class that brings people up to speed on the urban effectiveness of the carbine. You can visit our website for more details about the class and to register or send me an email directly and I will answer any questions you have about course or future courses.
The Combative Carbine course aims at reinforcing non-diagnostic carbine manipulation, malfunction clearances, ammunition management, a greater awareness of cardinal safety rules and the combat mindset. The course develops the individual’s skills confidence necessary to dominate in realistic conditions. The learned skills will help develop and improve standard operating procedures. Individuals will employ marksmanship skills from a variety of positions and conditions. The main focus will be at the close ranges (0-50 yards), but their will be work out to the medium ranges (50-200 yards). They will refine skill confidence, offer insight into combative carbine skills, and develop motivation to practice as well as exposure to dynamic and tactical situations. We will ingrain reflexive responses and non-diagnostic approaches to carbine manipulations that are lifesaving skills with realistic effectiveness. The individual walks away knowing how they want their body to react in a lethal confrontation. They will understand how to prepare and if necessary, defend themselves and mentally deal with the aftermath.
*Some range restrictions may apply.

Hope to see some new folks there. Take care and stay safe.

Later,

I can highly recommend Jeff's class. I took it last year, and I'm signed up again for this year. All his techniques are real-world applicable, no b.s. Your ability and confidence with your carbine will definitely improve. One of my team that took Jeff's course with me got sent to our state-mandated 5 day "assault rifle instructor course", and said he got more useful training in the 2 days with Jeff.
