of owning a couple of really nice, 1911's, I pictured these. Now, I don't have to picture anything, anymore!

Well, sounds like you need a bike then! I love my Harley, but just like 1911's, they're outdated, so I probably wouldn't advise getting either. So, you should probably sell your 1911's too.

Ok, so 10 Taurus pistols or 20 Kel-Tecs?

"Custom by Ed Brown" is just an over-priced...fancy named 100 year old design pistol.

That's why I had one built.

Absolutely. They give you extra gold BLING pieces so when yours start to fall off, you have a replacement handy.

Below is a closeup of the SF-SS. I thought it only appropriate that my retirement gift to myself be a 1911 since I'm retiring in 2011, the 100th anniversary of it's adoption by the U.S. Army.

Very nice sir! :patriot: Are you a chopper pilot? CW5 is not easy to obtain, nor do you see them every day.

I used to be. I flew helicopters for 16 years (mostly Blackhawks) but I've been a fixed wing guy for the past 7 years. C12 C, D and U models (King Air 200.) RC12 N,P and X models and DeHavilland Dash 7's.

True dat, we joke that there are more General Officers in the Army than CW5s.
