But my helper was busy splitting wood.

Nono's little helper. (I saved the bullets for him... he's young, he doesn't need sleep.)

Violating child labor laws now?

It is a victimless crime.

Children are not people! They can't sign a contract.

Also,

The first child abuse case was won based on a "cruelty to animals law".

Interesting stuff really.

Better put him on double shift. Pretty soon that bullet feeder will be there and you will need to give it a through work out. He can sleep during school tomorrow.

Hey Jack, might want to get some siding on that shed before that "corn" board swells up like a milk soaked Graham Cracker.

I am sorry but that is just wrong! How can you let that young child operate a log spliter. Give him some wedges and a sledge hammer like we did it when we were kids!

One of the boarders horses stepped through a panel on the round ring and put a huge gash on his leg. It was bad enough where I would have dug a hole and reached for a gun and one bullet but they're quasi-flatlanders, (new horse owners) and decided to vet him.

$2500 later and a huge cast on the leg they needed to keep him away from the rest of the horses and in a dry area so I let 'em build a small loafing shed and fence it off from the pasture.

When the thing starts to fall down I'll just fire up the skid steer and scrape it. My days of screwing with horses is over, they're worse than ex-wives... they actually break your bones.

Eye protection? I didn't realise you were raising him for the Bolshoi.

What's all that white stuff in the pic? Sawdust from a White Ash or do you need to fine tune your wood burning stove?

Apparently he lives at a ski resort.
