I'm seriously wanting one of those. What's the weight difference between that and an all steel?

All steel is 38-39oz and the LW Gov't is 31oz according to my books.

I just got one on Saturday, your picture taking skills are far better than mine! I really like it too, it's weights quite a bit less than the steel framed ones.

The Novak's sights are great too.

My trigger and grip safety seem to have a fair amount of play/loose tolerances, do yours as well?

Grip safety is tight as a drum, trigger has some wiggle in it but it does break with only a hint of creep.

Hmm I might call Colt tomorrow and see what they say, maybe mine needs to be adjusted.

Might have to visit my local expert gunsmith then, a bit of a shame for a gun at that price level in my opinion.

I agree, should be better for the price.

Nice. Glad to see that stopped using that awful duckbill grip safety.

Shoots about a baseball sized group at 25 Offhand and the only malfs were a failure to lock back on the very first magazine fired and a Win Ranger jumping the feed lips last round out of a Factory 8 rounder. I only carry and shoot Colt 7 rounders in it now.

Ball, HPs and LSWCs over 4.7 Bullseye no feed, extraction, or ejection problems at all. Primer strikes are a bit off to the 12 o clock position but no ignition problems.

Recoil Spring does feel light tho. Got a GI recoil guide and plug and a 18.5 lbs Recoil spring coming.
