It has all of the right ingredients...black, some more black, and then more black. Oh, and there's a black flat trigger. Nice!

Except for accidentally leaving it in a waffle iron, this is exactly what I want in a 1911.

Matte black, no gloss, no stainless, no text, no extra markings, no superfluous lines.

That "waffle iron" has a hell of alot of craftsmanship in it.

Is he only doing cosmetic work or did he rework all the internals as well?

That's one very good looking pistol. I have been trying to get good pictures of a couple of Black 1911's, and it's hard to do!
