Does anyone know if the STI Lawman has any MIM parts in it:headscratch::dunno:

I don't believe it does.

I often have wondered why people don't buy it over the TRP or the valor?

The few I've seen were made extremely well.

The lawman is an extremely well made 1911, but i thought it did... i could be wrong, you have any definitive press Tactical Black?

Yes. We, like most manufacturers, do but not in any of the "critical" stress or wear components."

Ya it doesnt really matter if they do or not. Even a lot of the semi customs use MIM on some of their models. Mainly the reason there cheaper, but there is good quality MIM and bad, Kimber=bad STI, WC, etc...=good. MIM parts cost 1/6 of the price of machined so that is kind of why you pay what you pay for a DW and also the difference in price between a CQB and Supergrade

Fwiw WC no longer uses MIM in any builds...
