It appears that you are in possession of a serial number issued for a police department's run of guns with their own serial number scheme outside of Glock's regular style of numbering the pistols.

In the Glock Collector's Club, you might want to post that up with some pictures. There are people who only collect specially numbered PD pistols and pistols roll marked with LE markings.

Hey Mike, you can call Glock customer service and ask them when it was test fired or imported into the US. that's what I ended up doing.

You can call glock and give them your serial #, and they will give you the import date. They narrowed mine right down to the day and I was on the phone all of about 45 seconds.

I have made a few updates to the website version (http://stakhaus.com/).

1. The five most recent updates listed at the top.

2. I disabled the enter key for all of the new entry fields. It seems some people trying to use the enter/return key to move between the fields was accidentally causing a form submission.

3. There are now hover tips that will pop up on the entry fields with a little extra explanation.

4. I have removed the G-17 from being the default model. This will force people to choose a model instead of some people potentially defaulting to the G-17.

5. Formatting check on the Serial field to prevent using spaces. They effect the formatting and sorting.

As always you can reply here or PM me if you have problems or suggestions for new ideas.

Give GLOCK a call, provide them the serial number and they can give you all sorts of great information about the gun including the BoD. Then come back here and let us know!

Serial number begins DGG, which on your list is a G22?! Am I looking at the wrong number?

You are right that it should be a Gen3.

DGG is just the first half and then you have the numbers. So in that batch of 1000 the only listed model on this list of owner supplied information was a G22. GLOCK does appear to make batches of models so a large series will all be the same model.

This is why I don't like the idea of limiting one posting per 3 digit prefix. There can be variability within the batch.

On your barrel there is a GDD date code which implies it was shot in July 1999.

You can also call GLOCK US and they can give you more detailed information such as the specific day, whether it has had warranty or recall work performed on it.

Silver serial number on frame. Original box. Fired very little if at all. I could not find this one in the serial data base. Any help please.

It would likely have been made in October or November 2011. The parts could be anything available by Glock at the time. If the current owner doesn't know they can call GLOCK, US and get that information.

D1N0, the front page posts aren't being updated, but I update them on my website (http://www.stakhaus.com/), if you don't do it yourself. I have tried getting a few different mods to help, but it hasn't happened yet.
