Very nice Chuck, as usual. But, don't you think you could've polished the feed ramp a little more?

What was it before it became the masterpiece that it is now, a G.I. model?
Just wondering.
You do such beautiful work on 1911's.

That is gorgeous. Your work never ceases to amaze me, and coming from a person who generally despises FCS on 1911's, I have to admit I do love how the vertical GI styled ones look on that gun.

Thanks guys!
It means a lot to me that my work is looked at. I don't
even care if you like it or not!
Just a few years ago smiffs like me were extorted by magazines.
It took building a gun for free or a significant advertising contract, or both,
to get 'some ink'.
I am proud to say I did not play that game.

Sooo Chuck you ever gonna start taking new orders? :dunno:

Simply put,
no.
The business plan is to build as I see fit and then offer for sale.
No waiting.
See something you like, it can be yours this day.
Simpler on me.
And allows me 'creative license'.
