G27 to G26 Conversion: Ejector Difference?

I'm ready to convert using the LWD-279N conversion barrel.

My buddy's G26 ejector looks different than my G27 ejector. His has a slight bend, and mine is straight.

Will this present any problems in my conversion?

Yes the 40 ejector is long & straight and the 9 ejector is long & bent. The 40 ejector works just fine with a LWD 9mm conversion barrel. If you have an ejection problem with a 9 conversion barrel it is associated with weak 115 gr ammunition, not the ejector.
