Hi! I'm Gregory and I just moved to Miami Beach! Please recommend to me a fantastic outdoor range where I can practice for IDPA!

www.popsrange.com every other wednesday. Some like it, some dont. The IDPA style shootouts are good, lots of practice. In 2 hours, I can shoot 150+ rounds for $10 range fee. I go as much as I can. The rest, you'll have to be the judge. Not sure what you are used to. I know Markham Park offers something like it as well. That is as far south as I go.

Trail Glades Range

Two good ones close to Miami:

- Trail Glades (Near The Casino)
- Markham Park Range

With Trail Glades, you have to attend a small 30 min class before they give you your membership. You cant use the range without it

Pops is a good outdoor range, trail glades has been totally re-done (pistol side) and markham park is nice. Both Trail glades and Markham, you have to wait 5 seconds between shots. NO rapid fire at all at the normal pistol stations. Some groups do have IDPA training there and are allowed rapid fire only while in those groups.
