Hey GUys,
A buddy of mine is selling his fire storm DLX Government .45 It's a phillipino maker (metro arms co) and from what I've read online, it seems to be a great shooter for a fraction of the cost of most .45's. I was just wondering if anyone had one and what it was like? Also, anybody have any horror stories on this. I've known the guy for several years but I just don't know much about the maker. Any info or reviews would help. THanks

Metro Arms makes a good 1911 for the money. If it's a good price, go for it.

Well, how he operates is he buys firearms. Then somehow gets behind on bills and sells them for less than what he bought them for. He's offering this one for $300 or $350. I hear they retail for about $450.

They were right! There really isn't a firearm that Bac doesn't own  It looks nice though Bac. How's the accuracy?

SO what are the other 1911's in it's class? I mean, the price on this weapon is great from what the reviews say (as in it's not a hunk of crap for the price). I've heard people compare it to being as smooth as a colt, or springfield. What would you guys say? Also, if I were to change the grips, would it be hard. I've heard the Llama copies had weird distances (metric, and screws). Thanks for the help.

The old Firestorms and Llamas were not 1911s.

This Firestorm is totally different and not even built by the same company. It is a 1911.

Ok. So I bought the Fire Storm .45. It's brand new, never fired. It came with the original box, 50 rounds, and a nylon holster for $300. I think I did pretty well today.
