I have a Gen 3 G17 that has less than 1000 rnds fired through it. I noticed after my last range session that the tip of the firing pin appears to be chewed up. It has a very rough and jagged appearance to it, but it doesn't appear to be due to part of the tip breaking off. FWIW, I don't dry fire the gun very much at all. None of my other Gen 3 Glocks show this. The gun has functioned flawlessly, but I haven't looked at any primer strikes. What could be causing this? Should I replace the firing pin? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you
