I thought I read somewhere once that the Singers were never issued into service. :dunno:Never the less, a Singer has always been near the top of my wanted list, but I doubt I'll ever have that kind of cash.:crying:

I thought I read somewhere once that the Singers were never issued into service.
Oh, yes, they were issued. Some sources indicate they went to the Air Corps. Might account for low survival rates if they went down in shot down or crashed airplanes. Only 500 made, of which only 2000 survive. You gotta watch out for fakes.
