I'm sorry, I know its not a 1911 and I hope I'm not in too much trouble for posting it here. However, you are the guys that appreciate quality the most. At $1150, this pistol is a steal.

They are simply one of the best shooting 9mms ever built. Actually they're one of the best shooting handguns ever built. I also think it may be the best auto to ever come out of Smith & Wesson and I like it considerably better than my PC945 or PC1911. The model that comes the closest is the old 52 wadcutter gun, which its based upon.

Being a carbon steel fan, the 952-1 was only made one year (2003). The stainless 952-2 took over from then on. Needless to say, I prefer the carbon version.

I think its also one of the prettiest guns available today. Its right up there with the 1911 and Hi-Power from an aesthetics standpoint, in my opinion. :)

One of you would do well to bid on it. :cool:

sorry bac but the 1 and only s&w semi i'd ever consider paying money for would be a 945. i'm not even that enthused with their 1911 offerings.

I hear you BEER. I prefer the 952 from a quality and accuracy standpoint, but the 945 is also nice and much closer to the 1911 in design.

Thanks CG. The 945 is a great pistol. Most of my autos are not 1911s, in fact.

However, there's still plenty I don't own, unfortunately. :crying:
