Just curious, is there any benifit to useing an aftermarket recoil spring in my 3rd gen 19 for use in uspsa and idpa? If so which one and what spring pressure? Thanks

Depends on what you consider a benefit? If you want to change spring weights or be assured the rod will not chip, crack or break then aftermarket is the way to go!
