Sarge, that is a beautiful gun. Mind if I ask what grips those are?
Its certainly a 1911, just not one for me. ;)

Thanks Grumpy. The grips are standard factory grips. I prefer the first gen. grips with the pebble texture but these work fine.

It's a 1911 to me, but to some purists it isn't, it's a "Government" model and some object to the series 80 firing pin safety system. Doesn't bother me.
