View Full Version : slide lever release spring broke below flush
Glock 33 slide lever release spring broke below flush. Any tricks to remove remaining piece of spring?
I assume you are talking about the slide lock spring (take down lever spring)?
Good question. I have never seen or heard of this?
Initially I would try tapping the frame upside down. I assume you did this until you were blue in the face? If the broken piece is accessible from the top you should be able to use a heavy needle to poke the side of the spring & pry upward. If this fails you may want to contact Fred at Glock Inc for another option?
