Thinking about STI Rangemaster

Really thinking about one of these. Have a Trojan and fell in love with it. Getting rid of a toy now, to make room (wife rule). I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info on it. It seems like it is in the realm of the TRP or a used baer........ any reasons that something is better for just under $1400.

And I looked at a lawman, but for not much more you get the bull barrel, is it worth $100

The Range Master also has the full length dust cover. I like the bull barrels, but if I liked the features and appearance of the Lawman better then I would get it and not worry about the bull vs regular barrel.

Around $1,400, the other new gun I'd look at is the Valor. You are also in "lightly used Baer" territory as well. The STI, Valor, TRP or a used Baer. All great choices and you win either way.

STI builds a great 1911 for the range and that would be one of the best they offer.

thanks for the help guys. It actually would be used for the range mostly. I like the Customer Service and the support and options those guns have. I have not had any dealing with CS on a baer yet.

I think I just can't get enough of the Trojan and want more just like it.

STI makes a heck of a gun. I have only had experience with 3 of their models, but would not hesitate recommending any of them, except maybe the LS9 and GP6
