Ran across this Milspec today. Has small "assembly" mark, but it's almost brand new otherwise. :supergrin:

You should be able to buff out the idiot mark fairly easy since its stainless.

gun oil and a green scotch-brite pad.
use light to medium pressure and go with the grain (front to back)
