Any idea if and how big of a bull bbl you can install with a stock

stock? Thank you

A "stock" (factory) stock for a tapered barrel cannot accept a bull barrel at all; it will not drop in far enough to allow the action screw to engage, as the barrel channel is tapered to match the barrel profile. If you're talking about relieving (hogging out) a standard stock to accept a bull barrel, then it really depends on how much wood or plastic you want left on the sides along the barrel channel. If you remove enough wood/plastic to get a normal bull barrel installed, you will only have a sliver (literally) left along the sides of the forend.

For informational purposes, I believe the standard outside diameter for most 10/22 bull barrels is .920".
Most stocks cut for bull barrels are also based on the same dimension.

I bought an aftermarket bull barrel and just wallowed out the factory stock using a Dremel tool. Ugly, but functional.
