I saw this mentioned elsewhere so I thought I'd post it.

I realize there were not many made like this, but I don't see it selling for the asking price.

Maybe I'll be wrong :dunno: Would be something for a hardcore collector.

Wow $15,000 just so your serial number starts with FBI. Not my thing but good luck to him.

This says it all:

"This is a consignment gun. We have nothing to do with the price. Please do not ask about a lesser price. We are doing what the customer wants and nothing further need be said."

I swear I saw one sell a year or two ago in the 5K range, which is somewhat reasonable in comparison.

The old joke of "if you want to charge double for something paint it black and write police on it" I guess you get to charge even more if you write FBI on it.

Yeah, I could see maybe $5K for someone who would want it.

For that price it should say "Full Auto" and be made out of gold.

Wow! That seems.....exorbitant, at the least. You know the poster thinks the price is silly too with an opening statement like that. Wow. :faint:

For that kind of cheddar....it had better be blinged out.

Hey that's pretty cool. I could see that as a good collector's item for FBI buffs.

Although, you could just save yourself the money and just join the feds, if it'd be that important to you to get your hands on this piece.

I really wonder what kind of person will buy it.

I would not give $5K for it, while it would be cool to have I think I will like my civilian Pro just as much

Some interesting things about this.

1. The listing has been removed, the link works but the actual sale has been removed.
2. GA said it was a consignment gun

3. All 268 of these guns went to the FBI's HRT. The HRT had one of their parked unattended vehicles broken into and all the guns in the trunk were stolen. This happened a couple of years ago.

Makes you wonder doesn't it? Here's a link:
