What two or three accessory items for the 1911 can you not live without? Just wondering how everyone around here accessorizes their guns. Thanks all!

Magazines, bullets, and holsters are always good

Yeah, what else do you need?
...not that I consider those "accessories".
I guess he's talking lights and lasers. :dunno:

The BEST 1911 accessory is another 1911 on the other hip :tongueout:
Good holster, good mags, good ammo, maybe some extra springs and extractor.

Spare Mags/ammo.
Parts/springs and basic tools. Shooting and cleaning supplies.
Holster's, gunbelt and mag. carrier.
I'd love to reload.
I do have some preferences in parts/grips. I've found a flat MSH and short trigger work best for me. I like the 1/2 checkered grips for carry.
As I've "Matured" my eyes tell me I love the 10-8 NM U-notch rear sight and a gold bead on the front.
1) sights. i've got to have some sort of dots, lines, or other markings on my sights so my worthless eyes can line everything up correctly.
2) grips. personally i can shoot well with any sort of grips, but with all the different materials, colors, and textures available for the 1911 they're fun to change out and customize.
3) holsters. for me personally a handgun is worthless without a good holster, and i need 3 styles for each handgun i own. a good iwb for concealed carry, a good belt holster for open carry where applicable, and a slip on pancake for those situations where i need to grab my gun quick and go.
