My first 1911. Wow... what a hunk of steel! A lot of you guys have been a great resource in my decision. Thanks!
Man, this thing is tight! No rattles or obvious flaws to my untrained eye. I gave her a field strip and made sure everything's clean and lubed and it looks to be good to go! Can't wait to get to the range and see what we can do.

Man... I do like these grips. I almost don't want to try the Pachmayrs I'll be getting

Congratulations! Beautiful gun. Nothing like the feeling of bringing home a new member of the family from the gun shop. Whenever I get a new one, I find myself just walking around my house with the new piece (unloaded, of course) tucked into my waistband. I'm like a kid with a new toy.

Sweet looking gun. I have always loved my Springer 1911's. I hope they offer this model in stainless someday. Just not too soon. My wallet is a bit thin right now. :crying:
Man, this thing is tight!
THat's what I told her...:animlol:

Very nice! I think I could see one of those in my collection this year.
Man... I'm looking at a TRP right after the first of the year, but I'm very, very seriously considering grabbing one of these and spending the balance on combat sights, mags, and ammo. I just love the looks of this gun and I'm feeling more and more that I don't need all of the features of the TRP right now, as I can upgrade certain components later.
Talk about being in a quandary.

No quandary at all in my opinion, I'd get the TRP if you're going to change the sights anyway.
