Nice gun, but me thinks he loves it a little too much!

That seller has a few guns that have been relisted for months, he certainly demands some high prices. :faint:

Overpriced in my book, especially with it having FCS. Nice gun though.

Maybe he has the reserve set lower, but $2400 is steep for a Basic Carry.

That's what I thought. Especially since the retail on them was only about 1600 back when they made them. I guess he figures he'll ask for the premium now.

Yeah, and RRAs have been selling higher than where they left, but 50% more is a bit much.

Very pricey... I don't even see anything special about it... Doesn't look all tricked out... It may just be me, but I don't see anyone paying near that...

Catalogue price in July 08 (the last time the pistols made the book) was $1750 for this. Allowing for inflation and the “hard to find factor” somewhere around $2000 delivered would be reasonable for NIB. The only thing “Basic” about the Basic carry is the plain sights, Park'd finish and standard length mag release. The rest of the spec is as per the Pro or regular RRA Carry. It looks like a newer production piece which might be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. But that auction has relisted over and over again and the reserve is close to the asking price and the seller won't deal.

that's a similar price to the one at the gunshow where the old man had it listed for ~$220, but offered it to rsxr22 for ~$1500.

Yeah, $2K sounds fair.

And rsxr22 didn't buy it?

nope, he bought a Mac earlier that week. he asked him at the next show and the guy said it was a 1 time deal. the best the old man would do for me was $2000. it wasn't parkerized, so i guess that would be a Carry and not a Basic Carry?
