Try the Mossberg 930 SPX Tactical. 7+1. 18.5" barrel. Matte black. Synthetic stock/forearm. Light. LPA Ghost Ring sights (FO front). Reliable. Shoots everything I run through it (light and heavy). Self-regualting gas. Shoots 2&3/4" and 3" shells. Much different than my 1100. Jerry Miculek of Smith and Wesson uses it in 3-Gun competitions. Runs faster than an M-4 costing lots more. It goes for less than $600. I am impressed with it.
Of course my vote is for this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axCK9ZqvIfw
Check out my youtube channel if you want to see all the Mossberg 930 SPX videos Ive made.
Btw, I sold my Remington 1187 for the 930 and I dont regret it one bit.
Another vote here for the Mossy 930 SPX. I got mine for just a hair under $600 and still to date only one FTE that fell within the first 300 rounds. Which I still blame the 25 degree weather and the very light reloads I was shooting thru it. :whistling:

I decided to sell my 1100 Tactical T4 to get the 930 SPX. Just added a TacStar side saddle and changed the red FO front to green FO - much better for my eyes to pick up.

If my dog started barking the Zombies-in-the-yard-Alert ... my 930 SPX is the thing I would grab. Mossberg 930 SPX is my personal civilian defense/combat blacktical boomstick... it's the best purchase for around that $600 price you can make... AWESOME.

But Scrappy - after taking out the first wave of 9 or so zombies, what would you do with the next hoard of zombies?!?!:whistling:
in all seriousness, I'm torn between the 930SPX and the Saiga12 the reload part is one of my concerns with the SPX, but not sure if I am overanalyzing it lol...
