First of all, Merry Christmas! With all the political correctness out there, and the movement to stop Nativity scenes everywhere, and taking Christ out of Christmas. I ask, What does Christmas mean to you?
Please no nasty arguing, this is the season for "peace and good will towards men".

To me, this is the season to remember the birth of the Savior of the world, to remember the gifts and why they were given.

Merry Christmas:wavey:

Giving to the less fortunate, keeping Christ in Christmas, watching the joy on my kids faces, spending time with family and friends, and thinking about and praying for my fellow brothers and sisters in the armed forces who are away from their families this year. God bless us everyone!

Family is very important this time of year, this year I got to welcome some new men into the Christmas at my mother-in-laws. I was alone, four women and me.

Do a little research on what "X" or rather "chi" means. (BIG HINT: it means Christ) Know your history my friend.

To me, Christmas means being with my other half and family.

Yep, knew that already, but have heard many no-believers say they use the x because they don't want to acknowledge Christ .

I am always amused at the *********s that go out of their way to say "I won't buy any products from Crossbreed for obvious reasons". If you are so offended that in a free market society, a well respected business owner shows his faith by having a bible verse on his website's homepage and or products, there's plenty of other choices out there. Sharing your opinion with the masses accomplishes the very end as the product you are so adamantly avoiding.

Then they are as ignorant of the history as those that take offense.

Not me.

I type X, but I know what it means.

Its all about being with family. Plus protecting the rights of christian haters to celebrate CHRISTmas without the whole pesky "religion" part of it. Not.

it is a Pagan celebration. Only the name has changed(during the dark ages)... the story of Jesus is the story of Horus from the Egyptian book of the dead told and written 3K years before Jesus.

I always typed XMAS because it was quicker. I have to admit, I was not aware of the meaning until i read the previous post. I do understand what Christmas means and it is an amazing time to spend with family and friends and presents are just a symbolic way of showing someone you love them! Knowledge is good in order to keep tradition, but I think some people get worked up a bit too much about the idea of buying gifts. I have a few family members who actually have confronted other members of the family for spending more on gifts because they are not fortunate enough to be able to do the same! And always they are reminded that the amount has nothing to do with the celebration of Christmas
