I just pulled the trigger on a Kimber Pro Carry II! I cannot wait to get it from the dealer. Brand New for $758! Free shipping and no sales tax.

Now I gotta get a large safety prime so I can start reloading for this thing!

That list as your sig will now slowly start switching to all 1911s until your journey to the dark side is complete.

shoot what you have, then you could try others.

main replies will be Wilson, Tripp or Chip McCormick

So that whole, "Kimber mags ding up the frame" is nothing to really worry about?

Skip the SCP and either get a STI Ranger2 bob'd or get a VBOB.

Nah, I am good on that... I am not a big STI fan... The SCP is my favorite 1911 out of em all... Then I will get me a EMP... And the VBOB isn't a aluminum frame...

Not Saying that STI isn't a good gun, but just not my cup of tea at this moment...

I just love the looks and feel of the SCP... I was gonns get a CDP Pro, but decided to spend the extra on the SCP...

I'm not a big fan of the SCP. For $1,300...there are other guns I like a lot better (even from Kimber...Pro CDP2 and ProTLE2). Don't care about the AL frame (I spend enough time at the gym that the extra 7oz doesn't matter), and I don't care for the Kobra Carry wanna-be checkering. :whistling:

I wouldn't buy one for $1300.00 either... I have found several for $1080.00 - $1100.00

Mix in a steak. Steel is real, ladyboy.

I'd still pass at $1,100. :tongueout:

LOL I don't mind steel on a full size duty weapon, but I have been carrying a CCW everywhere I go for the last 8 years, and I much prefer the aluminum... I don't need a steak... I am plenty big enough at 6'1 225 lol...
