As a happy divorce gift to myself I went out and bought a Benelli M2 and a new Glock 34 to add to the stable this week. Bad Ryan!

Oh well, at least they don't talk back.

They'll join my AR and my Glock 19...

 Let us know how the M2 shoots.

 Let us know how the M2 shoots.

If it's anything like the old Super 90 I had it'll be awesome. I'm going to run a couple hundred rounds of various shotshells through it this weekend.

I tried to shoot pumps for a while and just can't do it. I like the idea but not the execution.

How's the m2 different from the m4?

Recoil vs. gas operated. Plus they've been around alot longer.

If you're a righty, flip that light mount over to the 11 oclock position. Less barrel shadow, better sightline, and you just shoot with your thumb straight up.

Take 3 years of building clearing in the dark's worth of experience from me, it works better.

Also, if that's an Vltor mount as it appears to be, those thumbwheels can come loose under vibration from something like a vehicle engine. Just saying..... i went to LaRue and never went back after nearly losing my weaponlight in the middle of a freaking desert.

I've got a Malkoff insert that's quite a bit different than the stock SF with regards to throw and whatnot so barrel shadow isn't really much of an issue. It's also about 3X brighter so I get plenty of bounce and spill to light up rooms and stairwells and whatnot. The light pattern is alot like my E2D (LED version) but bigger and brighter. Really tight and throws great.

I hear you about the screws on the mount. I haven't had any problems with mine but I also used blue threadlock on them because I never take it off. I'll agree the Larue mount is quite a bit better but when I got this you couldn't get the Larue. They were out but nobody had them. Mostly I use this for 3-Gun anyway as my days of Doorkicking are over and Uncle Sugar isn't buying the ammo anymore. Me being an ex-Grunt tho, I'll never be without a good Combat worthy rifle and a couple of loadouts of ammo all ready to go. The LMT fits the bill nicely.

I plan on mounting a Surefire on the G34 once I've wrung it out a bit and using it as my main HD gun. I've got a little one now so anything I have loaded up in the house needs to be in a quick access handgun safe which essentially means my long guns are out.
