This one I actually like.. if I had the $$ I would be bidding..
I want Browning to introduce a standard 1911 line.
Maybe now they will. :dunno:

looks like they just might, it would deffnly be on my list of 1911's to get.

:agree:
If Browning is having a government model built for the anniversary, I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer a standard modelm in the future.
They're offering a 1911-22 for the anniversary and they already do offer that on a regular basis.

Nice! So the Browning isn't an A1, I want one without the gold!
6 grand. That is laughable.

I agree.
Did you see the Colt in his other listing?

Make the gun with 2011 features and I will have one.
I agree.

That would be very cool. I'd probably buy one. I'm actually surprised that they don't make one, as they have quite a few pistols in their line up and even have a 1911 .22! And yet Remington is offering a 1911.

I know, but they weren't around 100 years ago. ;)

I think Remington basically forced their hand now. If they're offering the smaller 1911-22, I can't imagine it will be long now. Hopefully, its in the same price range as the Remington, or at least under a grand.
I hope they don't go the Ithaca route. Those prices are outrageous.

If they'll make something like the O1918 for under a grand I'll need one.
