I have a 2nd gen. 23 that has an ejector #4340 in it. I recently ordered and received a spare trigger housing for it that has an ejector #1882. The 1882 is significantly longer than the 4340, and when installed and a loaded mag is inserted, the top round drags on the bottom edge of the ejector to the point that when slowly inserting the mag, you can watch the top round change angle as it come into contact with the ejector prior to the mag locking in place. My question is if I can still acquire the shorter 4340 ejector anywhere. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, however I save my brass to reload it, and this longer ejector is scraping the cases as they feed. Any insight would be helpful.
